Division
The City of Farmington strives to foster an attractive environment for new and existing businesses. The City encourages economic development to provide jobs, increase tax base, and offer convenient goods and services for its residents. The Economic Development Division of the City of Farmington is responsible for retaining existing businesses, assisting businesses with expansion, attracting new businesses to the community, and enabling the rehabilitation and/or redevelopment of areas within the community. The Division relies on support and input from the City’s Economic Development Authority (EDA) which is the official decision-making body when it comes to economic development.
