Utility Fees and Billing Information

Farmington residents and businesses are billed quarterly for utilities, which include water, storm water, sanitary sewer, street light, and garbage. If you have questions about utility billing or to set up services, contact Utility Billing at 651-280-6883.

How to Read Your Utility Bill

Utility bills provide customers with information about their charges in an easy to read format. The bill includes your  account and customer number. Both numbers are needed to correctly apply your payment.

Utility Bill Payment Options
Customers have many options available for paying their utility bill. Payments may be made online, by phone, by mail, at one of our drop off boxes, or in person at City Hall.  You may also choose to set-up recurring payments from your checking/savings account or debit/credit card. See the Automatic Utility Bill Payment Form for additional details.
