Building Inspector - Part-time

The city of Farmington is accepting applications for the position of Part-time Building Inspector. This position is responsible for performing inspections, reviewing commercial and residential plans; and assisting the public with questions.

The successful candidate will have a professional demeanor, training, and experience in building inspections and experience in plan review. Qualified applicants must have a valid driver’s license and must meet MN licensing requirement (Certified Building Official Certificate).  Starting salary is $29.42 per hour DOQ. Paid on call Firefighters

The city of Farmington has openings for paid on call Firefighters. Applicants must live within four minutes drive time of a Farmington fire station and be at least 18 years old. Benefits include hourly salary for training and fire callouts, training, uniforms and retirement. All candidates will be required to complete a written evaluation, physical agility evaluation, oral interview, and medical exam.
