Accounting Technician

The city of Farmington is accepting applications for a full time accounting technician. Responsibilities include general accounting duties, account reconciliation, customer service, data entry, and compiling reports. Qualifications include training in accounting, two or more years in general accounting, customer service or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience to perform the job responsibilities. Salary is $18.98 per hour, plus benefits. Applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m., May 18, 2015, and may be obtained at City Hall, 430 Third Street, Farmington, MN, or below:

Paid on call Firefighters

The city of Farmington has openings for paid on call Firefighters. Applicants must live within four minutes drive time of a Farmington fire station and be at least 18 years old. Benefits include hourly salary for training and fire callouts, training, uniforms and retirement. All candidates will be required to complete a written evaluation, physical agility evaluation, oral interview and medical exam. Applications are available at Farmington City Hall, 430 Third Street, or can be downloaded below. Applications should be delivered to City Hall. Dakota Communications Center Opportunity:

Dakota Communications Center Dispatcher Position
Dakota Communications Center (DCC) accepts applications on a continual basis for the Dispatcher position. Upon receipt, applications are reviewed to determine if the applicant meets the minimum qualifications listed in the position description. A determination letter is then sent out to the applicant notifying them if they will continue to the interview process. Those candidates who meet minimum required qualifications will be contacted for interviews. Regularly scheduled interviews are held in March, July and November of each year dependent on DCC staffing needs.
