The City’s elected governmental body, appoints six citizen advisory boards and commissions whose input and recommendations on issues are important to them.
In order to serve, you must be 18 years old, a U.S. citizen and a resident of Farmington.

Boards & Commissions
The Farmington City Council has created a number of advisory Commissions and Boards comprised of citizen volunteers to assist and advise the Council on a broad range of special community matters and policy issues. The opportunity to serve on these boards and commissions is strongly encouraged by the City Council to promote citizen participation and involvement in community affairs..
