Garbage & recycling pickup

Garbage is collected weekly and recycling is collected every other week (red or gold) on your garbage day.

Holidays observed by the city include:
New Year’s Day,  Martin Luther King Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day,  Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day*, Christmas Day *, and Christmas Eve Day*.

If your garbage day falls on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Eve Day, your garbage and recycling will be collected on the weekday BEFORE your regular collection day. If your garbage day falls on any other holiday, it will be collected the next weekday. The rest of the week will follow the regular schedule.
