Bike Auction

Saturday, June 16
8 a.m. viewing, 9:40 a.m. auction begins

Looking for a good used bike at a good price? We will be auctioning unclaimed bikes acquired by the Farmington Police Department. Many of these bikes are in good shape, some may be good for parts only.

Dew Run

Saturday, June 16 - 8am - Rambling River Center - 325 Oak Street

A certified, scenic, flat course in an urban/rural setting that is sure to please even the most elite runner! The Dew Run is part of the Ground Pounders Grand Prix Running Series brought to you by the SORR Communities of Farmington, Burnsville, Apple Valley, Lakeville, Rosemount, Eagan, and Savage.

One mile - 8 a.m.
1/2 mile Junior Jog - 8:15 a.m.
Four mile - 8:30 a.m.

Fees: one and four mile race $25, Jr. Jog $4

Entrants receive T-shirt and post refreshments are provided.

Pre-registered runners may pick up their RACE DAY PACKET the day before the race. The packet includes: race bib number, pins, T-shirt, and other goodies!

Family Geocaching Adventures

June 12-June 16

Learn about Farmington while testing your geocaching skills! 

Track down all the locations following the clues and GPS coordinates and return the completed form to receive a T-shirt. All entries must be received at the Dakota County Farmington Library by 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 16.
Pickup entry an form at city hall or at Dakota County Farmington Library.

Kiss the Pig

Saturday, June 16 - 6:30 p.m. (directly after parade)
Stage Under Big Tent, 325 Oak St.

Vote with your spare change! Look for canisters with a photo of each candidate (listed below) at Farmington businesses and city buildings. The candidate with the most change in their canister will be crowned the “winner.” The “winner” will pucker up during Dew Days. Don’t miss the big smooch on the outdoor stage right after the Dew Days Grand Parade on Saturday, June 17. Proceeds benefit the Rambling River Center.

Model Railroad Club Display


Friday, June 15, 2-8 p.m.
Saturday, June 16, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The Mode Railroad Club will host an open house during Dew Days. On display are trains, trains, and more trains! In addition to their permanent O gauge display, they will also set up a portable display in the Arts and Crafts room.

The Rambling River Center’s Model Railroad Club share their love of model railroads with each other at monthly meetings and with the community, especially children, at their annual events. Events include: Dew Days, the Rambling River Center’s Waffle Breakfast, Trains and Treats, and the Secret Holiday Shop. They are also available for birthday parties with a Rambling River Center room rental. They welcome new members and those who are just curious to meet and talk trains.
